We can't stop saying THANK YOU to everyone who contributed money, toys, time and effort into making this year's Holiday Season a truly joyous one for all of the Hope For Youth children...

Supporters recently read in Newsday about  how select  "Suffolk groups help juvenile offenders" through the newly launched Community Reinvestment Program.  Hope For Youth is the lead agency in this new strategic initiative to reduce juvenile delinquency in communities which have historically high rates of placement into state juvenile justice facilities.

HFY children enjoyed food, crafts, dancing and raffle prizes at our annual Holiday Party.

Long Island Girl Scout and Valley Stream South HS Senior Kaitlyn Seager comes through with a donation of 60 pairs of PJ's to Hope For Youth.

Thanks to EAC's Chance to Advance Program, and the Maria Gubitosi Foundation, several HFY children went on a holiday shopping spree buying special items from their wish lists!

Please bring a gift card in support of the holiday Toys For Teens drive to the Cornucopias Noshery located at 194A Park Avenue in Amityville. Their famous and delicious esoteric and healthy breakfast or lunch entrees are named unusually and  the menu is a fun read. (Closed on Mondays.)

We had a successful event at our Bi-Annual Cornucopia of Hope Gala. Long Island executive chef, wine expert and winner of the Zagat award of excellence, Tom Schaudel, hosted the event. It was a wonderful evening of dinner and extravagant desserts from Sweet Karma Desserts, D’s Delectable Delights, Marneycakes and Lisa Vivo Custom Cakes.

The evening will feature cocktail hour, passed hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert, wine and chocolate flights, a dessert competition, prizes and moving, personal stories told by Hope For Youth alumni.
