A Hope For Youth Fundraiser honoring Cathleen Trigg-Jones

This Hope For Youth Fundraiser will highlight the #kidscantwait initiative which provides specialized support to the youngest children on Long Island affected by trauma and specifically the foster care system.

This exciting event — which will include a cocktail hour, full dinner, entertainment, and raffles and auctions — will take place at the newly renovated Coral House in Baldwin, Long Island on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Cathleen Trigg-Jones is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, actress, author, wife, mother, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. She has been a pivotal force in helping others to unlock their hearts and empower their lives. Adopted as an infant from the foster care system, Cathleen has always felt a kinship to stand for and protect other women and children – those who are most often abused and neglected. Offering her life as a testament, Cathleen has helped thousands of women and children empower their lives and realize their dreams through her charity organization Trigg House. Cathleen’s considerable body of work extends the message that not only is there a way out, but that extraordinary dreams can be born out of profound trauma. Most recognized for her work as a News Anchor Cathleen’s on-air career spans nearly two decades and covers everything from television to radio and film. Cathleen is also the founder of Catscape Productions and a contributing writer for Heart and Soul magazine where her passion for getting to the heart of people’s stories can be seen in her interviews with various celebrity women.
