Hope For Youth

Hope For Youth Tablet Delivery

Last month the ESSENTIAL staff at HFY delivered tablets to youth across Long Island to assist them with visitation, therapy, casework and legal appointments. By partnering with Suffolk County’s Family and Children’s Services Division and other voluntary agencies including LIAFS, Awixa, and Little Flower, we were able to ensure all youth in foster care within Suffolk County now have access to devices to facilitate virtual work with their networks, to support their permanency goals.

Thank you Redlich Horowitz Foundation for awarding HFY the funding that will ensure youth will be able to receive support, treatment and other essential needs including virtual family visitations during current physical distancing.
