Meet Eagle Scout, Cameron Lellig-Berardino

Eagle Scout, Cameron is a member of Troop 230 of Oceanside. He selected to partner with HFY and chose to raise funds for our Youth Shelter. With the funds raised, new items were purchased for the shelter including hygiene baskets filled with toiletries, new flip flops, new sweats/tee-shirts, and new duffle bags. We are grateful for Cameron’s commitment to HFY and for all his hard work! Shown here with Cameron is Colleen Meyer, a recruiter for Hope For Youth’s Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program.

Eagle Scout projects provide the opportunity for a Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, or qualified Venturer in the Boy Scouts of America to demonstrate leadership of others while performing a project for the benefit of the community. This is the culmination of the Scout’s leadership training, and it requires a significant effort on his part.
