The Hope For Youth STEAM Academy will be for youth, ages 15-19, who are in the Hope For Youth foster care program. We are currently conducting mentor interviews and will be enrolling interested youth during the month of February. The Science, Technology, Environment, Art, Mathematics mentoring program will be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of March, April and May from 6:30-8:00 PM, at our main office in Amityville. There will also be a special event the last Saturday of each month (3 hours of a trip in the community).

The program will finish with a celebration at HFY’s annual June awards dinner, Tuesday, June 11th. We are seeking mentors who would like to commit to this time- limited mentoring opportunity, a total of 6 hours per month, in addition to the required 1.5 hour training.
