Foster Parent Recruitment!

Are you ready to welcome a foster child into your home? Bi-lingual families, single parent households, or multi-generational families are always encouraged to apply! 

 

Hope For Youth’s new Home Finder, Margarita Alarcon, has been very busy since she began in this position late last year. 

 

In December HFY held two Foster Parent Orientations and two more are scheduled for January.  Full MAPP training will begin for our new foster parents in February.  Our Foster Care Department is concentrating on recruitment in both Suffolk and Nassau Counties.  We are in need of families of all backgrounds who are open to welcoming children between the ages of birth through 21.  If you’re interested in learning more about becoming a dedicated foster parent please reach out to Margarita via email or telephone: malarcon@hfyny.org, 631-782-6516.
