Ugly Truth Presentation

Prevention Specialists Madi and Rachel at the Ugly Truth presentation at Lindenhurst Senior High School! They were able to inform the community about the dangers of Heroin and prescription medication.They also had a resource table outside the presentation and offered various flyers and information about our Prevention Program as well as the other programs offered by Hope For Youth.

In collaboration with Town of Babylon, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are participating in the Hope For Youth‘s “Too Good for Drugs” program. This wonderful, age-appropriate program focuses on building students’ social and emotional skills. Over the course of the Ten-Week program, the goal is to provide students with strategies for making healthy choices, building positive friendships, communicating effectively, and resisting peer pressure.
